About Our Senior Attorney

Juan Cano graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor in Biology. He then earned his Juris Doctorate in 1990 from the Thurgood Marshall School of Law in Texas. For more than 30 years he has defended the rights of Texans, and is a member of the
Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. Mr. Cano is a long-time resident of Austin where he resides with his wife of 45 years.
Mr. Cano is dedicated to providing personal service to his clients. For many years, he has intentionally kept his practice at a size where people can bond and work together as a team. The work that is done here is extremely important – it is life-altering to individuals and their families – and everyone at Cano & Denbina takes pride in being able to give clients personal service. Mr. Cano meets personally with each client. Our lawyers appear in court, standing next to that client.

About Our Junior Attorney
Cristina Denbina has graduated with Bachelor of Political Science, and a Master of Science with an emphasis in space studies. Ms. Denbina earned her Juris Doctorate from the South Texas College of Law, and a Masters of Law from Suffolk University School of Law.

Ms. Denbina has been licensed to practice law in Texas for nearly 20 years. Knowledgeable in both family law and criminal defense, Ms. Denbina is prepared to assist Austin area residents navigate the complexities of divorces, protective orders, and family law modifications, as well as defends those accused of misdemeanor violations.
